Excavating Pitt-Rivers

We just received funding for a new project based at the Pitt Rivers Museum: Excavating Pitt-Rivers. The project, funded by Arts Council England's Designation Development Fund, will study the earliest archaeological collections made by General Pitt-Rivers, during the 1860s and 1870s, which are today held at the Museum.
